Episode 05: Quarantine Cocktails
Meet me at the bar, IT’S GOIN DOWN. A tale of two cocktails, depending on your mood. Some history about a famous cocktail you didn’t ask for (you’re getting it anyway) and why margaritas are bigger in Texas.

INGREDIENTS:
3 Limes, juiced
2 oz Arette Blanco tequila
1 oz Grand Marnier
2 - 4 slices of jalapeno (optional)
.5 oz simple syrup
Soda water
Tajin for rim
METHOD:
If using the jalapeno, place the slices in a cocktail shaker or glass and muddle until broken to get the spicy flavors out. If you’re not using, skip!
To rim your glass with tajin, take a sliced lime and rub it on the lip to wet the edges. Dip the edges of the glass onto a plate filled with a thin layer of tajin until the desired amount of seasoning clings to the lip.
In the cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour in the lime, tequila, Grand marnier, and simple syrup. Shake until icy cold and using a strainer, pour into a tumbler filled with ice. Top with soda water and garnish with your citrus of choice. Have a couple sips and forget about all your poor choices. Salud!
